About Me.......

I have always had a passion for photography and sports for as long as I could remember. First creating memories with a point and shoot and later using my father’s Nikon 35mm camera. I can still remember sitting in the dark room waiting for pictures to develop. Going into high school I decided to take more photography classes to continue developing my skills. In my senior year of high school I was between going to school for photography or to become a teacher. 

I ultimately decided to go to school and become a Physical Education teacher. I never let go of the photography dream. In college, I took a few more photography classes and even worked as a photographer for the yearbook.  I am currently a full-time teacher, teaching middle school health and physical education. This will be my 22nd year teaching. Everyday is an adventure teaching middle school students.

During the Fall of 2018 I finally decided to make my dream a reality and opened Angelo Lafratta Photography.     I specialize in sports photography, portraits and event photography. I would love the opportunity to capture your special moments and make lifelong memories for your family.
